Recommendation Engine – Goal is to serve product recommendations prior to an order shipment that suggests additional products to add to their shipment based on their profile, interests, and shopping/browsing history.
The result has been an increase in customer engagement and revenue. Also, the product recommendation project turned out to be a great success that has encouraged them to take on similarly ambitious data projects with Databricks.
