Fergal is one of Corvil’s founders and a specialist in bandwidth and QoS measurement technologies. He has been involved in the design and development of innovative traffic measurement and analysis algorithms for the past 12 years. Prior to joining Corvil in 2000, Fergal held the position of assistant professor in the Dublin Institute for Advanced Studies, where he was a member of Prof. John T. Lewis’ applied probability group, which also included Raymond Russell, Corvil’s Chief Technology Officer. At Corvil, Fergal has been intensively involved in developing key product innovations directly applicable to managing IT system performance.
