Delta Sharing is an open standard for secure data sharing. Adhering to this open protocol, anyone can build a Delta Sharing server or client and become part of the ecosystem. This open approach is designed to be easy for both data providers and data consumers to use with their existing data and workflows, and has four guiding principles:
- Share live data directly, without the need for copying or moving,
- Support the widest range of clients,
- Enable strong security, auditing and governance,
- Scale to support massive datasets seamlessly.
In this session, you will learn how Oracle adopted Delta Sharing and designed and built a modern data sharing capability into the Oracle Autonomous Database to deliver value to their customers. You will also learn the latest developments from the Delta Sharing open connector ecosystem to help kickstart your journey with Delta Sharing.
