Hinge Health is a platform providing musculoskeletal (MSK) care and virtual physical therapy. Their solutions decrease MSK pain, surgeries, and opioid use, resulting in proven reductions in medical claims. They're the top digital MSK clinic with over 11 million members and 500+ employer health plan clients. Their teams comprise physical therapists, physicians, and certified health coaches, and they integrate with over 750,000 in-person providers. Personalized care plans require data to be continuously updated and analyzed. Hinge Health needed a solution to reduce costs and scale as new data sources were onboarded. Delta Live Tables (DLT) was the natural solution to simplify CDC, improve data reliability, meet SLAs, and reduce TCO. This talk will focus on CDC design and strategy with DLT. We'll delve into design principles, key insights and valuable lessons learned that can only be discovered by Hinge Health’s journey to an optimized CDC architecture.
