Amid global economic uncertainty in 2022 and 2023, Colombia faced challenges, including rising interest rates, a Consumer Price Index upsurge, and shifts in government housing subsidy policies. This led to a 45% decline in Colombian real estate sales. For Constructora Bolívar, navigating this uncertainty triggered a transformation towards becoming a Data-Driven company, utilizing Databricks to develop RiskMaster. It employs four Machine Learning models to predict customer defeasance, estimate subsidy eligibility, assess economic impacts, and provide financial insights. Our ecosystem seamlessly integrates Databricks with visualization tools like Power BI and our CRM, enhancing decision-making across all levels. Its predictive deployment saved deals, increased delivery to vulnerable populations, and reduced inventory. This transformation allowed Constructora Bolívar to break away from population biases, establishing itself as a real estate sector leader.
