Researchers at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and the University of Southern California are working with AccuWeather experts to leverage AccuWeather’s most comprehensive weather dataset from our Data Suite, available on the Databricks Marketplace. The most extensive inventory of unique and more accurate weather parameters aims to revolutionize children’s healthcare in California, the US, and beyond. By integrating AccuWeather’s high-resolution data on air quality, heat, humidity, UV exposure, etc., with electronic health records, researchers can address critical questions about the impact of environmental exposures on children. The result has led to unique opportunities to identify and reduce the impact of environmental exposures on children across a pediatric health system. Join the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and AccuWeather for an overview of their work and the institutional, technical, and social challenges they are working to overcome as they scale from a single health system to those across the United States and abroad.
