Heping Liu is a Sr Principal specializing in machine learning at Workday Inc. He leads the development of forecasting and optimization products using machine learning, next-gen platformization architecture, disaster recovery strategy, and open-source software management. He also spearheads initiatives like creating a conversational front end for Workday using LLM. Before joining Workday, he co-founded Beijing Unigroup AI Technologies Inc., serving as CEO, building the team, and raising over $7 million USD. Before that, he held technical leadership roles in Silicon Valley companies. Heping holds a Ph.D., focusing on forecasting, optimization, AI/ML and LLM, big data, and analytics. He has published around 20 papers in top academic journals.
