Jim Fanning leads North America Financial Services for Databricks. His teams support customers in banking, payments, asset & wealth management, insurance, exchanges, data providers, and professional services across the U.S. and Canada. Jim started his career as a C/C++ developer on Unix platforms and he takes pride in staying detail-oriented on the latest technology trends. Prior to Databricks, Jim held leadership positions at Amazon Web Services, Microsoft, and Accenture, and was a founding member of Tellme Networks, a Silicon Valley startup.
