Karan Jariwala is a Machine Learning Engineering Manager at Databricks, focusing on integrating efficient deep learning with large-scale distributed systems and high-performance computing. He joined Databricks through the MosaicML acquisition, where he was a founding engineer of the Streaming Dataset, an open-source deep learning distributed data loading library. Before his time at MosaicML, Karan spent four years at Amazon developing a distributed training framework and optimizing deep learning training performance.
