Mingmin is the director of engineering and head of real-time data and search platform engineering team at Uber. He has been leading the team to build and operate Kafka infrastructure, Pinot and real-time analytics platform, Flink and streaming engines, Search platform to power various business-critical use cases. His team builds highly scalable, highly reliable yet efficient data infrastructure and platform with innovative ideas while leveraging many open-source technologies such as Pinot, Kafka, Flink, Lucene, Hadoop, Zookeeper etc. He got his PhD in computer science from UC Davis.
