Reinier Veral is an MLOps Head with over 25 years of experience in software engineering, big data, and machine learning. He currently leads the deployment and monitoring of ML models using Databricks, enabling scalable, production-grade AI solutions. At Nokia, Reinier spearheaded DevOps and IoT innovations, achieving also consecutive victories with Team SymbIoT at AWS Hackdays in 2019 and 2020. He also managed software teams at Quasset. Beginning his career as an Assistant Professor at Mapúa University, Reinier taught courses including Software Engineering, Microprocessors, Compiler Theory, Operating Systems and C and Assembly Language. His technical proficiencies encompass Python, SQL, and ML operationalization in enterprise settings.
