Sridevi Ravuri is Sr. Director, Engineering, at Google, leading engineering for Google Cloud Storage. Google Cloud Storage is the planet scale object storage service used by major Google properties like YouTube, Photos etc and by Google Cloud customers. Before this role, Sridevi was in VMware for 11 years and held various engineering leadership roles. Her last year role at VMware was the Vice President, R&D, for VMware’s flagship product, vSphere ESXi, which is used by 500k customers worldwide. Prior to this role, she incubated the VMC on Dell EMC hybrid Cloud initiative and has led SaaS and mobile engineering teams for Workspace ONE in VMware’s End User Computing (EUC) division. She holds a M.S degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.Tech degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
