As the Director of Data & Analytics – Platform Engineering & Operations, I am leading the development of Databricks cloud data platform. My role demands to build isolated, secured, tailored platform environments for all data journeys on this Lakehouse Platform to ensure platform's reliability and scalability is fully met. This data platform serves all adidas-wide data users like data engineers, data scientists, data analysts and BI engineers. My role also involves to maintain the data platform through a centralized operations service built to monitor all data pipelines, ML models, BI reports. All Lakehouse data journeys get centralized support services for a high-performant domain-agnostic platform built with economy of scale.
