Venu Boppana is a Strategy and Innovation leader in the Office of Business Informatics (OBI) in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER), FDA. The Office of Business Informatics (OBI) supports CDER’s regulatory decision-making by identifying, implementing, and managing CDER-wide informatic systems to meet business needs. Since joining the FDA in 2013, Mr. Boppana has led several critical strategic programs by introducing AI/ML/Gen AI to support mission critical business initiatives including Drug Supply Chain, COVID IT projects, CDEROne Enterprise Data Analytics Program. He has over 20-years’ experience in leading and architecting Augmented Analytics, Enterprise Architecture, Cloud Infrastructure and Applications Development.
