Wei Wei is a computer scientist working in the field of machine learning and natural language processing. He is currently a managing director in Accenture’s Center for Advanced AI. Wei leads the applied research team which consists of researchers specializing in developing novel methods for building foundation models. Wei also leads the Accenture Foundation Models effort which produced many of the companies’ most advanced customized large language models. Before joining Accenture, Wei was a research scientist at Google, working on fundamental problems in machine learning. He received his Ph.D. from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
