At Databricks, Ron is the Chief Revenue Officer, responsible for managing the worldwide sales organization and go-to-market strategy. He’s grown the company from less than $1M to $2B+ and helped raise $4.1B. Prior to Databricks he served as Senior Vice President of Sales for Axway Software. During his leadership there, Ron built and led the sales team from early stage to a successful IPO. Prior to Axway, Ron was responsible for sales, business development and marketing for Cyclone, a Trinity Ventures-backed company. Ron holds an MBA and master’s in engineering from Stanford University. He also has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Purdue University, where he played baseball and was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor.
