Databricks is seeking a dynamic Staff IT Product Manager in the Commercialization/CPQ team focusing on the Quote to Revenue processes. The successful candidate will drive the analysis, design, and implementation of GTM solutions for new product launches and enhance operational efficiency and productivity across the organization. Focus areas would be CPQ Implementation, reducing manual touches, and scaling organizational needs. You will play a critical role in building the tools for driving continuous improvement initiatives in the Quote to Cash processes. This position requires a deep understanding of business processes and expertise in Salesforce technologies.
You will report to the Senior Director of Product Management and work closely with our leadership and business partners. You will be a part of the CIO's organization.
The impact you will have:
- You will develop a strong understanding of our Quote to Cash platform, driving launch Velocity in NPI and bringing new offers to market
- You will build strong relationships with our internal team and business partners
- You will meet with our business partners and stakeholders to define and improve project scope, success criteria
- You will drive and own the Product Roadmap for IT products in Quote to Cash space
- You will apply analytical skills working with business and product owners to develop requirements and user stories stemming from product roadmaps
- You will add value to the delivery team by working with the business and product owners to create clarity around business objectives through the development of and refinement of user stories
What we look for:
- 8+ years of relevant product management experience with a proven track record engaging with stakeholders at all levels and a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.
- Strong understanding of Product configurations, Pricing, Quoting and Contract management
- Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for the Quote-to-Cash platform(preferably Salesforce CPQ) with an emphasis on Quoting and Order Management into a clear, concise, and actionable product backlog.
- Organize and prioritize requirements into product releases that drive business value and align with the broader
- Collaborate with product leadership to enumerate and identify clear business KPIs, for setting annualized objectives and partnering with GTM and Financial Planning teams to meet the business and product goals.
- Partner with peer Product Managers, Architecture, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Program Management to identify, evaluate, and integrate 1st and third party strategic technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend product innovations and enhancements that drive business value and maximize the ROI for the product(s) you manage.
- Provide product oversight to ensure consistent product experience of user controls, data definitions, business logic, and product aesthetics.
- Responsible for coordinating Integrated, cross-functional Testing, and collaborating with individual product managers to define and execute product release strategies with end users, and technology leads.
- Expertise in Salesforce and common go-to-market and finance business processes
- Detail-oriented with effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, flexible, team player with solid multi-tasking, time management, and organizational skills
- Knowledge of consumption-based business models
- Strong understanding and experience with Agile/Scrum teams as a Product Owner
- Strong domain expertise working with teams across organizations with a stellar track record of success
- Strong data analysis skills as well as metrics skills to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
