We are seeking an experienced Collections Analyst to help manage the collections process in our dynamic, usage-based tech company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing effective strategies to ensure timely customer payments, reduce outstanding balances, and maintain healthy cash flow. This role requires a proactive candidate with a strong understanding of usage and consumption-based billing models and the ability to foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. This position will be catering to the US (EST) timezone

The impact you will have:

  • Monitor and manage assigned accounts receivable portfolio, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Success, Billing, Legal, and Credit Risk teams to align on strategies for delinquent accounts and ensure compliance with company credit policy.
  • Collaborate with the Cash Application team to resolve unapplied cash and ensure the timely posting of payments.
  • Analyse customer accounts and payment trends to identify risks, systemic issues, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Drive structured escalation for high-risk/delinquent accounts, including coordination with legal or third-party agencies as needed.
  • Develop, maintain, and automate reports/dashboards on key KPIs (DSO, CEI, Unapplied Cash) and present insights to management.
  • Leverage ERP (NetSuite), CRM (SFDC), and BI/analytics tools to manage accounts and track collections performance.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders and customers to support resolution and long-term partnership.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5+ years of collections experience, ideally in both public and high-growth technology/SaaS companies.
  • Proven track record managing high-volume, complex AR transactions in a global environment.
  • Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, advanced formulas); strong ability to analyse large datasets and perform reconciliations.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and CRM tools (Salesforce CPQ); exposure to billing platforms such as FinancialForce or Metronome is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing accuracy with deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to influence cross-functional partners and engage directly with customers.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with openness to adopting new technologies and processes.
