We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, International Equity Administration to lead and scale our global equity operations across ~45 countries, including ~20 Employer of Record (EOR) jurisdictions. This role is critical to ensuring compliance with complex international regulations, managing global equity transactions, and delivering a best-in-class employee equity experience.
You will partner closely with Tax, Legal, Accounting, Mobility, Payroll, People Ops, and Equity Administration teams to ensure seamless execution of equity programs, maintain jurisdiction-specific compliance, and support global audits and financial processes.
The impact you will have:
Global Equity Operations
- Lead international equity administration and compliance for Databricks, Inc. Manage international option exercises, RSU/RSA releases, tender offer-related taxable events, and similar transactions
- Reconcile international stock-based compensation activity
- Manage our Cash Settlement Program (CSP) for non-withholding countries
- Implement Shareworks modules and broader equity system solutions to build a best-in-class equity infrastructure that prioritizes scalability, efficiency, and automation
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure compliance with global regulations, including (but not limited to):
- Australia ESS reporting
- Israel trustee structures
- Singapore expatriate terminations
- French Qualified Plan compliance
- Partner with our internal Tax team on international reporting and filings
- Support taxation and education for international and mobile employees
- Lead responses to international audits (e.g., Australia, India, Israel, U.K.)
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate closely with internal and external Mobility teams and consultants regarding equity taxation for globally mobile employees
- Partner with Accounting to support financial close and local statutory audits
- Work with internal and external Legal partners, and our Tax team, to interpret and implement regulatory changes
- Partner with internal and external Payroll teams and vendors to ensure accurate reporting of all equity transactions, including resident and non-resident requirements
- Partner with People Ops to ensure LOA and status updates are fed/audited timely and accurately
Projects & Program Development
- Lead and contribute to strategic and ad hoc global equity initiatives
- Support expansion efforts, including a potential ESPP rollout and administration
- Drive process improvements and optimize systems to enhance scalability and efficiency
Employee Experience
- Enhance equity education and communications for taxable equity events, including but not limited to: RSU releases, tender offer events, and global mobility transactions
- Ensure a consistent, compliant, and high-quality equity experience across all jurisdictions

- Strong operational knowledge of Morgan Stanley Shareworks, Deloitte GAIN tool, Workday HR and Payroll, and other Equity Administration Systems.
Certifications
- Certified Equity Professional (CEP), Level 3 preferred

The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents the expected base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks anticipated utilizing the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
