The Data + AI Skills Gap

The “skills gap” has been a concern for CEOs and leaders for many years, and the gap is only widening. According to McKinsey, as many as 375 million workers globally might have to change occupations soon to meet company needs. There is a significant divide between where workforces are presently and where they need to be in a few years. With this anticipated gap in mind, leaders need to shift their focus on upskilling and reskilling their workforce. This skills gap is especially felt with the fast-paced technology advancements of data + AI.

Impact of Databricks Training on Organizations

As organizational needs have evolved, Databricks has been at the leading edge of the data + AI revolution and in parallel has deeply invested in ensuring the present and future data + AI talent is set up for success through Databricks training. To that end, earlier this year, Databricks launched the first Generative AI engineer learning pathway and industry-recognized certification exam. Since then, thousands of data + AI professionals have been trained and certified in Generative AI.

"Generative AI is so important right now and I know that I have the skills I need to apply it in the future and have a strong overview of potential use cases my company would deploy in the future. There aren't many certifications on Generative AI right now that have both theoretical and practical components, but Databricks has the certification that helps validate those competencies."
