In this role, you will lead our data collaboration ecosystem product strategy, and own the roadmap for all aspects of data collaboration. This includes Delta Sharing, our open source sharing protocol; Databricks Marketplace, our open marketplace for Data and AI; and Databricks Clean Rooms, our privacy-safe data collaboration offering. As part of this role, you will define our strategy to identify the business priorities across verticals and use-cases. You will also own the product roadmap and implementation, working closely with engineering to develop a differentiated data sharing and collaboration offerings. Finally, you will work cross-organizationally with sales and partnerships teams to drive adoption and grow the data sharing and collaboration network. 

The impact you will have:

  • Develop a deep understanding of the data collaboration & sharing ecosystem 
  • Articulate the strategy to build the world’s most open Data and AI ecosystem
  • Work closely with customers and partners to understand their technical and business needs 
  • Define product requirements and work closely with your engineering and design counterparts to build new features 
  • Define and execute the product roadmap for Delta Sharing, Marketplace, and Clean Rooms.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of experience leading technically complex enterprise products
  • Strong understanding of the collaboration & sharing ecosystem 
  • Prior success developing and bringing net new products to market
  • Excellent verbal and written communication

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
