We are pleased to announce the winners of the Databricks Generative AI Startup Challenge, a competition held in collaboration with AWS to showcase the most innovative early-stage startups leveraging Generative AI on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform. Our winners emerged from a strong group of applicants following a rigorous evaluation process by our panel of judges.
Grand Prize Winner: Vevo Therapeutics
Vevo Therapeutics has secured the grand prize in the Databricks Generative AI Startup Challenge, thanks to their revolutionary approach to drug discovery. Vevo’s Mosaic platform generates millions of biological data points at single-cell resolution, enabling the creation of foundation models that map how drug molecules interact with patient cells. This unique approach has the potential to transform personalized medicine by identifying more effective drug-patient matches.
