Databricks will be at GDC this year, demonstrating how game teams can de-risk their development and better know and grow their player base like never before. We’ll be joined by partners EPAM, Snowplow, Sigma and AWS! We will be right by the front door of South Hall next to registration, you can’t miss us! We will be showcasing advanced data intelligence technologies, as well as how we are making AI more accessible and actionable to game teams.

There are 3.4 Billion gamers across the globe, projected to grow to 4B in a few years. This creates one of the most exciting opportunities available to serve humanity through play. Here at Databricks, we are helping game companies of all sizes better serve their playerbase and bring more play to the world. We’d like to partner with you to do the same.
We see three key areas where data and AI can help game developers create meaningful gaming experiences for their players:
We have lofty goals that can’t be accomplished alone. To help make these goals a reality we are building an ecosystem of technology solutions and professional services. Together we are building connectors, repeatable solutions and thought leadership that touch on the requirements of game companies of all sizes. As a first step, we are partnering with EPAM, HeroicLabs and Sigma Computing to build a comprehensive real-time data analytics pipeline demo to be presented at GDC. Here, you’ll see how easy it is to get game data out of HeroicLab’s Satori BaaS, processed in Databricks, visualized through Sigma’s dashboards, explored via Databricks’ AI/BI genie and fed back into Satori to impact player experience.
Our Realtime Analytics demo will feature the capabilities of:
In addition to the above partners we’re excited to be working with:
At our booth, we’ll feature a mini theatre hosting presentations on crucial aspects of game data and AI as it relates to development and operations. GDC attendees can expect insightful talks on understanding and expanding player bases, mitigating risks in game development, and optimizing live operations strategies.
In addition to our own presentations, we’re excited to collaborate with key partners from our ecosystem. Industry leaders from Snowplow, Sigma Computing, EPAM, and AWS will demonstrate how their solutions integrate seamlessly with Databricks to enhance Data and AI capabilities in game studios. These joint presentations will offer valuable insights into leveraging unified data platforms to break down silos, process vast amounts of game data in real-time, and make informed decisions faster.
Throughout the week we will have a series of game data and AI talks led by our dedicated games experts, our tech and services partners, our product teams and our customers. Check out the schedule when you arrive. If there’s a topic about Data and Games that you’d like to share, we’d love to hear from you!
We will also have a series of demos running throughout the week. In addition to the Real Time Game Telemetry Demo mentioned above, we will be showcasing:
Book a meeting with us here, come visit our booth and/or join one of our games data talks.
We look forward to seeing you there!
