The Databricks Marketing team is opening a new role to help unlock new revenue opportunities through data-driven strategy, planning, and performance management. You will help marketers at all levels to make better decisions so that they can achieve their business results, improve customer outcomes, and drive efficient long-term growth. In this role, you will be a subject matter expert across marketing functions - understanding needs, priorities, and problems to be solved. You will be accountable for delivering insights and supporting the business to apply recommendations. This role, reporting to the Sr. Group Manager of Marketing Insights, will be highly cross-functional, working with partners across GTM jointly driving analysis and strategy.
The impact you will have:
- Democratize insights—Maintain a repository of best practices, key learnings, global trends, and feedback that marketing can discover and use.
- Synthesize and distill data from multiple sources and drive business recommendations by analyzing and extracting meaningful insights from large and complex datasets.
- Be a subject matter expert on reporting and visualization solutions to drive efficiency across marketing teams.
- Deliver actionable insights with performance improvement recommendations, distilling complex ideas into a clear story with emphasis on implications for business decisions.
- Collaborate with the data teams to support the preparation of reports, presentations, and strategy recommendations.
- Execute the target setting for different teams in the entire marketing organization.
What we look for:
- 2 + years of experience in data and analytics supporting GTM teams
- Data exploration and analysis experience working with disparate data sources.
- Experienced in working with modern data warehouses.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experienced in working in cross-functional environments.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
