As a People Program Manager (PMO), you will partner with the People Team, IT, and business leaders to lead global HR projects across the employee lifecycle. You will be the connection point between the People Team and our partners to grow and transform our HR offerings, with a focus on experience and scalability. In parallel, you will lead best practices within the HR and project management space, and serve as a thought partner to Senior Leadership. You will report to the Sr. Manager, People PMO.

The impact you will have:

  • Project manage a variety of strategic HR projects by gathering requirements, supporting strategy design, developing project plans, and guiding multiple teams to ensure deliverables are met
  • Take an ambiguous problem and define problem statements, critical outcomes, and activities needed
  • Create a shared understanding across multiple groups to drive decisions and commitments 
  • Establish clear performance benchmarks and KPIs to track project success against functional priorities
  • Lead executive communications, thought partnership, and reporting to ensure transparency and alignment on project progress, risk, and outcomes 
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to implement process builds or improvements, automation, technical implementations, and/or change management
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on project management best practices and be a thought partner in growing the PMO function

What we look for:

  • 6+ years of experience leading cross-functional projects or programs with demonstrated success in process optimization, automation, and/or strategic change management
  • Expertise leading projects using hybrid or agile approaches and project management tools like Asana
  • Experience communicating complex ideas and decisions to Director+ stakeholders 
  • Familiarity with designing and leading creative ways to structure and break down problems for teams
  • Consultative skills, ability to conduct deep requirements gathering and solve the root cause
  • Proven ability to design and improve complex business processes or technology changes through detailed analysis, process mapping, and execution

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
