Databricks Strengthens Presence in the ANZ Region with New Zealand Country Manager Appointment

Carol Brown joins Databricks as Country Manager for New Zealand after 11 years at Microsoft

Auckland, New Zealand, May 28, 2024Databricks, the Data and AI company, today announced the appointment of Carol Brown as Country Manager for New Zealand, strengthening its commitment to growth and expansion in the ANZ region.

With over 15 years of experience in sales, marketing, and leadership, Brown brings a wealth of expertise to her new role. She will be responsible for leading the New Zealand business and driving the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform adoption across a range of industries. Brown's appointment comes on the heels of Databricks’ strong 70%+ year-on-year growth across ANZ during the past fiscal year.

Prior to joining Databricks, Brown spent 11 years at Microsoft, holding various positions, including most recently, Sales Director for Microsoft's Enterprise business in ANZ. There, she oversaw commercial and people outcomes, while actively supporting and sponsoring teams, partners, and customers engaged in D&I programs across the region. Outside her professional roles, Brown represents Aotearoa, New Zealand on the Forbes Coaches Council.
