We are looking for a creative, passionate and well-rounded leader to join the Industry Solutions marketing team at Databricks and lead our largest and fastest growing vertical, Financial Services.  The right fit for this role will have a record of marketing impact, technology understanding, and subject matter expertise across retail banking, capital markets, insurance and more.  You will have a strong point of view of how data and AI are transforming these businesses and be able to successfully share with internal and external audiences.  You will have experience reaching executive audiences and demonstrated a proven ability to effectively build mindshare with decision-makers.  Finally, you will excel in the context of a high performing team of collaborators and bar raisers - bringing best practices of your own to make the team better, while leveraging strong relationships and learning to go faster yourself.

As an Industry Product Marketer at Databricks, you will be a leader - guiding messaging, content, event strategy, analyst relationships, and GTM programs for the Financial Services vertical. You will work with sales, engineering, marketing, partners, and our customers to build awareness, demand generation and sales enablement programs that help achieve executive engagement and opportunity acceleration goals. You will also create thought leadership content through editorials, blogs, white papers, social and other tactics. This role reports to the head of industry solutions marketing.

The impact you will have:

  • Growth in the total addressable market by defining, packaging, and amplifying our Data Intelligence Platform for Financial Services.
  • Inclusion in analyst research and influencer content. 
  • Engagement from executives - specifically technical decision-makers and the C-Suite.
  • Adoption of your approaches to building campaigns, growing pipeline, and identifying use cases.
  • Productivity gains for field stakeholders through the sales enablement you build.
  • Consumption focused by audience-specific solutions you identify and content you create - blogs, videos, pitches, discovery guides and more.
  • Acceleration of pipeline by GSIs and ISVs you identify and with whom you co-market.
  • Advocacy from customers sourced directly by you  - including case studies, videos, and brand campaigns.

What we look for:

  • 7+ years of experience in product marketing, solution marketing or industry marketing for an enterprise software or SaaS company.
  • Experience as both a subject matter expert and marketer with strength in storytelling, creative, and strategy as well as execution.
  • Customer-facing experience with industry executives and decision-makers.
  • Portfolio of impactful messaging, marketing content and sales enablement with meaningful outcomes.
  • Skill in customer, event, and executive presentation.
  • Experience with cloud, big data, data analytics, data warehouse, machine learning or AI technologies in an industry context
  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
