We are expanding our Sales Development team at Databricks and are looking for a strategic leader to manage and grow our EMEA Growth Development Representative team and help us expand our business in the region.

Reporting to the EMEA Director of GDR, you will be an important contributor to our sales leadership team, leading a team tasked to develop new accounts to start their first spend on Databricks.

You will have closing experience as an individual contributor and will also have led inside sales or field sales teams in the past.

The impact you will have:

  • Take the primary leadership role in building and scaling an outstanding team.
  • Shape strategy for new spender development within EMEA
  • Coach your team to execute successful new business sales cycles.
  • Engage with senior client stakeholders to build strategic relationships.
  • Work with Sales Leadership, Field Engineering and Databricks Partners to maximize the contribution of the team.
  • Maintain strong reporting, accountability and attainment against quota.

What we look for:

  • 3+ years experience as both an Account Executive and an Inside Sales or Field Sales Manager with consistent overachievement against quota
  • Exceptional coach of junior sales talent
  • Ability to analyze and build out a territory plan with your reps
  • Strength in collaborating with account teams, front line stakeholders and cross functional ecosystem
  • High proficiency in leveraging sales tools for automation and activity logging
  • Experience in the cloud, big data and AI space
  • Fluency in English
