Sr. Group Manager, Marketing Insights and Analytics

This role’s charter is to unlock the potential of the marketing organization through data-driven strategy, planning and performance management. You will help marketing leadership at all levels to make better, faster, and data-driven decisions so that they can achieve their results, improve customer outcomes, and lead long-term growth. Every day, you will engage with marketing leaders as an important member of their extended team to understand their needs, priorities, and problems to be solved. You will provide insights and data & analytics solutions to accelerate their business. You will have a unique blend of expertise in data-driven analysis, business strategy, and solution design. This management role will also oversee a team of analysts and agencies helping chart the strategy for exponential growth.

The impact you will have:

  • Guide a team of analysts in the proactive development of reporting on important metrics, applicable insights, design experiments, and optimization recommendations.
  • Be a "trusted advisor" to Marketing leadership using analytics to lead insights. Understand senior partner challenges and develop appropriate analytics, reporting and visualization solutions to address them. 
  • Improve customer focus and accountability through data.
  • Demonstrate the ability to tell a story through data and with senior leadership and other main partners
  • Bring insights to Marketing on investment allocations to increase marketing programs and campaigns.
  • Deliver deep, relevant recommendations to ensure functional and business reviews 
  • Promote main marketing personas like field marketing to be more aligned and impactful to their sales counterparts through marketing data and insights 
  • Work well with partners at all levels while advancing a point of view on data interpretation and effective test & learn strategies

What we look for:

  • 10+ years of experience in data and analytics supporting GTM teams 
  • Experienced in working with modern data warehouses.
  • Data leader with a background in delivering business insights.
  • Experience managing teams.
  • Experienced in working cross-functional environments.

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
