As the Sr. Manager, AMER Benefits, you will manage and develop a team of benefits professionals to bring competitive and thoughtful benefits programs to our growing employee population in the Americas region! Reporting directly to the Head of Benefits, this is a critical role to drive the team’s execution and strategic leadership to best optimize our benefits offerings and related cost efficiencies.  This role will be based in Mountain View, CA.

The impact you will have:

  • Responsible for our AMER benefits programs in US, Canada, Brazil and Costa Rica, advising on industry trends and recommending improvements to support our talent strategies and Total Rewards philosophy
  • Redesign the US Leaves of Absence (LOA) program to deliver a Databricks-differentiated experience during the employee LOA lifecycle
  • Develop the team’s maturity toward driving decisions through data and insights and being a consultative Center of Excellence to support growing business needs
  • Partner with People Operations to modernize the delivery of information through multiple channels (Chatbot, Automation, Gen AI) and ensure continuous process improvements in the efficiency and scalability of benefits support through Shared Services 
  • Support Databricks’ global expansion strategy by serving as functional lead on mergers and acquisitions and new business entity creation in AMER 
  • Work, build and enhance relationships with internal and external partners to ensure plans operate smoothly and effectively 
  • Develop communication and change management plans for program launches or changes 
  • Partner with stakeholders including People Partners, People Operations, Legal and business leaders on key projects from design to implementation including modeling, project planning, communications and training
  • Evaluate and ensure compliance with federal and state regulatory and local requirements to prepare for IPO readiness

Pay Range Transparency

Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles.  Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
