We do this by delivering the most advanced data and AI infrastructure on the planet, giving organizations the deep insights they need to transform their industries.
The Lakeflow Engineering team is at the forefront of this mission. You will get to participate from the front row in shaping the future of ETL by driving innovation at the intersection of AI, distributed systems, and developer experience. You will solve challenging problems that span from product to infrastructure using cutting edge technologies.
Impact you will have:
- Drive Innovation in Declarative ETL: Design, develop, and deliver cutting-edge capabilities that establish Databricks as the leader in declarative ETL.
- Champion Customer-Centric Solutions: Begin with a deep understanding of customer pain points and iterate on features that directly address their most complex ETL challenges.
- Own from inception to delivery: Define the architecture, guide the product roadmap, and take end-to-end ownership of delivering meaningful, scalable outcomes.
What We’re Looking For:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience in databases or distributed systems
- Comfortable working towards a multi-year vision with incremental deliverables
- Motivated by delivering customer value and impact
- 3+ years of production level experience in either Java, Scala or C++
